This backpack is made out of 100% Cotton Fabric, hand-sewn and screen printed at The Grease Diner (located in Emeryville, CA). The backpack has adjustable straps and a elongated handle loop to carry it when the straps are pulled and tightens the top. The illustration and tote bag was inspired by Japanese Illustrator and Designer: Osamu Harada (1946-2016). At the height of his career (1980’s), his illustrations were used for a variety of products (catered to women) and were branded: Osamu Goods (under the pseudonym: Dusty Miller). This tote bag is an ode to his work and to further promote Japanese Illustration and Design.
