The objective was to create a map depicting a personal journey. I interpreted the word "map" as a guide and thought about my journey as a graphic designer.
Typography is of great importance to my design practice so I chose to depict the typographic guidelines of a Serif letter "h".
I also wanted to showcase an existing material and contest the ever growing need and speed for new technology (i.e. 3D printer).
At the time, I was surrounded by so much tech that it detracted me from what I initially wanted to learn and grow to love: craft.
These fuse beads can create amazing 3D visuals too!
